Half Pigeon pose or Ardha Kapotasana (pronounciation: are-dah Kah-po-TAHS-ah-nuh)
Note: Do this for 5-10 breaths and then do it on the other side of your leg. (Right and Left)
Benefits:
- Hip and Chest opener
- Improves blood circulation
- Improves flexibility of the spine
- Deep stretch at leg muscles
Contraindications:
- Chronic knee, or hip injury or inflammation.
Modifications:
If the hips are not ready yet. You can use a block or a blanket place it under your upper leg from hip to support you.
